CCHE would like to alert you to the 2018 UW Women’s Health and Health Equity Research Lecture and Symposium coming up on October 11, 2018.
The events will take place on Thursday, October 11th from 7:30-11:00am in room 1325 Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) at 750 Highland Avenue in Madison. This year’s keynote, entitled “Why Health Equity?” will be presented by Sheri Johnson, PhD, UW Population Health Institute Director. Dr. Johnson has dedicated her 25+ year career to partnering with children, families, community organizations and systems to advance health and well-being. Her talk will take place from 8:15-9:15 am.
In addition to Dr. Johnson’s presentation, the event will feature a poster session and scholar presentations. Scholar presentations will be shared by Jessica Vazquez, Trainee, Endocrinology and Reproductive Physiology Program, Stanic Lab and Madelyne Greene, PhD, Postdoc, Health Disparities Research Scholars Training Program (& ICTR AHEAD Pilot grantee).
