CCHE would like to share the newly released 2019 Wisconsin Health Disparities Report ~
The Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ), in collaboration with the UW Health Innovation Program (HIP), developed the 2019 Wisconsin Health Disparities Report to identify where disparities in health outcomes and care exist in Wisconsin. This report includes recent data from 25 Wisconsin health systems for measures including vaccinations, screenings, disease risk factors and chronic disease by race/ethnicity, payer and rural/urban residence. The Infographic contains the concluding results of the disparities report.

The report does not provide recommendations on next steps. WCHQ hopes that by identifying and publicly reporting these differences, this report will draw attention to and promote public accountability, improvement and action by multiple stakeholders.
Eliminating health disparities is a task that cannot be done by health systems alone or accomplished in silos. This report can support health systems, health departments, policymakers, nonprofits and employers in developing collaborative approaches within their communities to create a healthier Wisconsin for all. Please share this report with partners, team members, or leaders who may be interested in this project.
