The Wisconsin Collaborative Education Research Network is hosting a book talk on January 24th, “Accountability and Opportunity in Higher Education: The Civil Rights Dimension.”

UW-Madison’s Nicholas Hillman, PhD, Associate Professor of Education Leadership & Policy Analysis in the School of Education will be joined by his co-editor Gary Orfield, PhD, Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Civil Rights Project at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr. Orfield is the Distinguished Research Professor of Education, Law, Political Science and Urban Planning at UCLA. He has spent his career studying, documenting, and recommending action around inequity.
