CCHE affiliates and former Advancing Health Equity and Diversity (AHEAD) pilot program grantees, Dr. Tova Walsh and Dr. Alvin Thomas, are partnering with the African American Breastfeeding Network (AABN) to learn about Black fathers’ experiences and support needs across the transition to fatherhood and Black mothers’ perceptions of the support that would benefit fathers and strengthen their capacity as partners and co-parents.
If you identify as a Black mother/father to an infant or are currently expecting a baby, are a resident of Milwaukee, and 18 years of age or older, you can take part in this study.
Participation will include filling out an online survey that will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Each participant will receive a $25 gift card as a thank you for their time.

Please share this opportunity broadly through your networks and help amplify this project that centers the voices of Black expectant and recent fathers to try to understand more about father needs and support maternal and infant health in the Black community.
