CCHE encourages you to attend an upcoming educational event at the Oneida Elder Expo in Green Bay ~
“Dementia in Indian Country” is taking place Tuesday, August 7th from 1-4:00pm at the Radisson Hotel at 2040 Airport Dr. in Green Bay, WI 54313. Join Dr. Blythe Winchester & Dr. Donald Skenandore for an educational talk on Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia, and how it affects Native communities.
Dr. Winchester is an Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians Tribal Member and geriatrician. She is a national expert on dementia care and diagnosis in Indiana country. Dr. Skenanadore is an Oneida Tribal Member and a University of Wisconsin-Madison Psychiatrist currently conducting Alzheimer’s disease and dementia-related research.
This event is free and open to the public! CCHE is a proud co-sponsor, along with the Native American Center for Health Professions (NACHP), the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, and the Oneida Nation.
