DESCRIPTION:On April 11\, Kristen Pecanac\, PhD\, RN\, and Rasaki Emmanuel will present\, “From CARDS to CAB…and Back Again!” Dr. Pecanac is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at UW-Madison. Rasaki Emmanuel has been a dedicated advisor on the Goodman Community Advisors on Research Design & Strategies (CARDS) Group for 13 years. \nIn this presentation\, they will discuss their experiences with a Community Advisory Board (CAB)\, including recruiting participants\, designing meetings\, discussing data\, sharing findings\, and moving towards next steps. Register via Zoom to attend the presentation. \nThis presentation is part of the DRISS Presents TEACH-RS series\, an interactive\, monthly lunchtime seminar to learn about dissemination and implementation research and recruitment science.
