Hampton University will host a virtual conference, ‘How is the Lack of Diversity in Research Hurting the Black Community?

Expert panelists Goldie S. Byrd, PhD, Roland J. Thorpe, Jr., PhD, and Carl V. Hill, PhD, MPH, will speak about the research process and how the underrepresentation of Blacks in research has contributed to racial health disparities in the Black community. The conference aims to foster communication between researchers and members of the community and to address questions and any areas of concern among community members.
