An event every day that begins at 1:00 pm, repeating until June 28, 2022
Register by June 1, 2022
UW ICTR is pleased to announce a professional development opportunity for faculty who are actively mentoring postdocs or junior faculty developing research careers. This research mentoring seminar will be co-facilitated by Drs. Meyerand and Brown.
The 8-hour seminar will be offered in Summer 2022 as two 4-hour sessions on:
Monday & Tuesday, June 27 and June 28, 1 – 5pm in WIMR 3001A
The seminar sessions are based on the published curriculum, Mentor Training for Clinical and Translational Researchers, which has been successfully tested via a multi-site randomized controlled trial (RCT) led by UW-Madison, and is now used nationally. The seminar uses a case-based approach to explore an intellectual framework for research mentoring, providing opportunities for reflection on mentoring skills, and a forum to solve mentoring dilemmas and share strategies for success.
This event is a reschedule of sessions originally planned for Winter 2022
