ICTR Resources & Funding to Include Patient Experience in Health Research Brown Bag Information Session

Are you interested in research that incorporates the patient experience with different health conditions? Come learn how to leverage video and audio clips and interview transcripts of patients’ experiences available via the UW Health Experiences Research Network (HERN). We will also discuss upcoming funding opportunities available through the ICTR-CAP Pilot Award Program. Bring your lunch and your questions!

The goals of this Brown Bag are to answer the following questions:
- What data is available and how can health researchers use it? Learn how you can leverage existing video/audio clips and interview transcripts of patients’ experiences with various health conditions for your health research.
- What is the UW Health Experiences Research Network (HERN)? Learn about this ICTR-CAP program, its portfolio of research on patient experiences with different health conditions, and the rigorous qualitative research methodology used in all UW HERN studies.
- Is there funding available? The ICTR Pilot Award Program encourages proposals using UW HERN resources/data. Anticipated release date for RFAs is 12/1/18.
