D&I Short Course

The D&I Short Course is a forum for researchers and community stakeholders to explore the emerging fields of dissemination and implementation sciences with national and local experts. The course includes interactive sessions that navigate the steps from concept and design to adaptation and implementation in practice.

This short course attracts a multi-disciplinary group from all over the world interested in learning about new concepts and frameworks, hearing examples being used in health care delivery and community settings, and applying this knowledge and expert feedback to their own projects and research. Our program archives provide all event agendas, materials, and speaker presentation videos.

    • UW researchers have an obligation to disclose inventions created while carrying out their university duties, using any university funding, or using university premises, supplies, or equipment. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education is responsible for evaluating UW–Madison invention disclosure to determine who may have rights to the invention as laid out by federal rules, contracts, or other obligations. In some cases, UW-Madison inventors may retain rights to their inventions or petition the federal government to obtain these rights.

For investigators working on grant submissions, HIP offers a Grant Writing Group. This group operates as a “mock study section” to provide early feedback on grant development.
