The UW-Madison School of Nursing is soliciting proposals for presentations at the second annual LGBTQ+ Health Summit taking place April 17, 2020!
They are now accepting abstracts for pre-conference workshops and breakout sessions. All students, faculty, staff, healthcare professionals, and community members are welcome to apply as individuals and/or groups to present on topics related to LGBTQ+ health. Please submit your session proposal by January 17, 2020.
The purpose of the summit is to educate and activate the health sciences community on LGBTQ+ Health and create new pathways to serve LGBTQ+ communities. We will do this by:
- Reinvigorating LGBTQ+ -identified healthcare professionals, students and community members in finding community and support in practice
- Promoting the use of up to date best practices to improve LGBTQ+ health outcomes
