Self-nominations Invited by July 1 for Leadership Roles with Two Career Development Programs

ICTR invites self-nominations by July 1, 2024, from innovative, emotionally intelligent, and culturally aware leaders to lead either the STRIDE or AHEAD programs, both of which are housed in ICTR’s Collaborative Center for Health Equity.

Those expressing interest should be faculty members at UW–Madison, though specific criteria for the two roles differ. Please see the individual postings, linked below, for details.

The Success Together Reaching Independence, Diversity, and Empowerment (STRIDE) Program supports early-career faculty from historically underrepresented backgrounds pursuing health-related translational research.

The Advancing Health Equity and Diversity (AHEAD) program was established in 2012 to support postdoctoral scholars at UW–Madison whose research focuses on health disparities or health equity in translational research. Over the past 12 years, it has evolved to provide quarterly seminars for AHEAD scholars on topics relevant to their career development needs. AHEAD scholars are eligible for the AHEAD Pilot Award, which provides up to $10,000 to support their research.
