Linnea Evans

Dr. Evans received her PhD in Health Behavior and Health Education from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in August 2017. Dr. Evan’s research focuses on how health inequities develop during the transition from adolescence to adulthood, particularly at the intersection of race and gender. As a HDRS postdoctoral fellow, she aims to extend her work with Black adolescents in a longitudinal nature, investigating changes in expectations and obligations, time-use, and management of stressors as one nears the end of the high school years and transitions to the next progression.
