Amarette (Amy) Filut

Amarette (Amy) Filut is the program manager for the Collaborative Center for Health Equity at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She oversees three mentorship and professional development programs within CCHE: ADEPT, AHEAD, and STRIDE, which support part-time PhD students, postdoctoral scholars, and new and early-career faculty, respectively. Her current role brings together her background in research on bias reduction in academic science and medicine with her passion for mentorship and supporting the professional development of individuals across the academic pathway. She received her PhD in Clinical Investigation from UW-Madison.
