In vivo Isotope Tracing to Characterize Neutrophil Metabolism in a Healthy and Diseased State
Expanding knowledge of neutrophil metabolism in healthy and pathological states will provide critical information for improving our understanding of immunity, discovering metabolic targets, and creating new therapies to immunodeficiencies, autoimmunity, and inflammatory disorders. The overarching goal of my PhD study is to understand how neutrophils utilize various metabolic pathways and how these can be manipulated as potential therapies.
