Martha Maurer

Martha Maurer is a Scientist in the Sonderegger Research Center (SRC) for Improved Medication Outcomes at the University of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy.  Dr. Maurer has experience with project management, stakeholder engagement, qualitative and quantitative research methods, policy analysis, and grant/manuscript preparation. Throughout her career, Martha has supported research to develop and translate interventions to improve medication safety and adherence, with a focus on underserved populations. She supports multiple faculty member’s research programs, conducting data analysis, drafting manuscripts, conceptualizing research methods, and developing grants.  She was thrilled to join Dr. Portillo’s COPD CARE evaluation team in January 2022 to lead the qualitative research aims and is looking forward to her continued involvement in evaluating the scale up of COPD CARE.
