Hemanth Potluri

Mentored by Doug McNeel, MD, PhD, Professor of Medicine, Potluri’s research addresses the hypothesis that targeting a DNA vaccine to Mutation-Associated Neo-Antigens will result in superior anti-tumor responses in a murine model of prostate cancer when used with a “checkpoint” protein PD-1 “blockade.” Potluri is pursuing the MD-PhD in Cellular & Molecular Pathology with a focus on Clinical and Translational Science.
