***New in 2019*** Sean M Ronnekleiv-Kelly, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology. Overall, Ronnekleiv-Kelly’s lab focuses on formation and progression of pancreatic cancer and melanoma, as well as understanding communication within the tumor microenvironment. Currently, he is investigating how an immune modulating transcription factor, the aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR), affects growth and spread of melanoma using a mouse model of malignant melanoma.
