Emily Utzerath is the Associate Director of the Coordination Center of the National Research Mentoring Network (NRMN) and part of the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (ICTR) Mentorship Initiatives team where she develops programs and curricula, optimizes programmatic operations, and leads workshops to teach individuals how to build local capacity for sustainable mentorship programming. She leverages her diverse experiences as a historian, art curator, and faculty developer to grow interdisciplinary programs with a focus on social change in higher education. She received her M.A. in German Studies from the University of Colorado Boulder.
