Cassandra Wilkins, Outreach Coordinator for the All of Us Research Program (Milwaukee site), has a background in writing, marketing, and journalism. Originally from Brooklyn, New York, Wilkins has had the opportunity to work for cultural institutions that have been historically homogeneous, like the Brooklyn Historical Society. While there, a primary focus was undertaking projects that would promote inclusivity. Wilkins has worked on PSAs and film projects focused on the trans experience in America, pursues personal writing projects and podcasts, and has volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and Project Identity at St. John’s Bread and Life. Wilkins earned a BS in journalism from St. John’s University Queens Campus.
