Stakeholder Engagement

wordcloud-test
We support a range of activities that effectively engage patients and communities in health initiatives and clinical research.  We support research that relies on participation from a broad array of stakeholders to solve problems in translating knowledge into clinical practice, community health programs and health policy, thereby contributing to improving health and reducing health disparities in Wisconsin. Our infrastructure is intentionally designed to build the capacity of investigators and research partners, who range from patient and family advocates to community non-profits to health care delivery system providers and administrators to state and federal regulatory and research compliance offices.  We’re enhancing research recruitment practices to ensure the broadest representation of research participation possible, and our infrastructure extends to disseminating UW research through community, practice and policy networks, in support of more effective pathways to utilization of research findings and positive health impact.
