WCHQ Assembly – Creating a Healthy Wisconsin: Identifying & Eliminating Health Disparities

Kimberlydawn Wisdom MDCCHE would like to alert you to the upcoming Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality (WCHQ) Assembly Meeting ~

The WCHQ Assembly Meeting will take place on September 19, 2019 from 9 – 3:00pm at Monona Terrace in Madison, WI. The topic is Creating a Healthy Wisconsin: Identifying and Eliminating Health Disparities with a keynote presentation by Kimberlydawn Wisdom, MD, MS, Senior Vice President of Community Health & Equity, Chief Wellness & Diversity Officer, Henry Ford Health System, Michigan’s First Surgeon General.

Featured presentations will include the WCHQ Report: Health Care Disparities in Wisconsin shared by Maureen Smith, PhD, and Matt Gigot, MPH. This is the first release of a landmark report in Wisconsin from the WCHQ with data that documents health disparities in Wisconsin based on race/ethnicity, payer, and geography.

This event is designed for senior leaders, physicians, pharmacists, nurse leaders, physician assistants, advance practice nurses, front line staff, social workers, and care coordinators.
