WPHA Health & Racial Equity Forum Virtual Series

Coming up this Thursday, November 4th at 1pm CST, join the Wisconsin Public Health Association (WPHA) for a Health & Racial Equity Forum Series. Co-created and hosted by WPHA sections, this webinar series focuses on public health topics that directly connect to racial equity. In response to WPHA declaring racism as a public health crisis, WPHA strives to provide education, resources and action steps to our members on how various public health systems and professions can advocate for health and racial equity.

These webinars for the Health & Racial equity forum series are complimentary and free/open to all.

The November 4 webinar, ‘Race, Incarceration, and Public Health’ will be shared by Karen Reese, PhD, Vice President of Research and Education, at Nehemiah Center for Urban Leadership Development, and Stephanie Gyldenvand, Community Health Strategist with the Winnebago County Health Department where she works to engage community to advance health and racial equity.
