Overview
The Wisconsin Network for Health Research (WiNHR) is a multisite health system research network established to promote statewide research and assist in moving research results from bench to bedside by allowing investigators to perform clinical, translational, comparative effectiveness, and health outcomes research across various platforms. WiNHR also collaborates with sponsors to find optimal sites, patient populations, and investigators to achieve significant clinical research outcomes and maximize the value of research dollars.
WiNHR partner sites include Advocate Aurora Research Institute, Gundersen Medical Foundation, Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, and UW-Madison.
WiNHR provides researchers with:
- Expanded geographic reach with ethnically and socioeconomically diverse study populations.
- Potential access to more than 5 million residents served by the partner sites.
- Research collaborators from the partner institutions.
- Increased efficiency in conducting research and meeting accrual goals.
- The opportunity to conduct research across the state of Wisconsin.
