About

Yohualli Anaya, MD, MPH is an associate professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health. The title of her KL2 Research is “Translating Trust: A Comprehensive Study on the Barriers, Facilitators, and Impact of Trust in Healthcare Among Latino Immigrants with Chronic Disease.” This project aims to identify factors that influence trust in healthcare systems and associated delays in care for adults with chronic disease. Findings will inform a trust conceptual model tailored for the Latino immigrant context and ultimately an intervention approach to promote healthcare system trustworthiness by systematically assessing contextual factors that affect trust in healthcare settings.
