About
Matthew Tattersall, DO, MS, is an assistant professor of medicine. The title of his KL2 research is “Arterial Effects of Acute and Recurrent Asthma-Mediated Airway Inflammation.” This work aims to address systemic inflammation in asthma that may reduce deleterious end-organ effects. The result of this could be a paradigm shift in asthma care to include monitoring and therapeutic targeting of extrapulmonary inflammation.
