On Friday, April 10 at noon (CST), Mary Ryan Baumann, PhD, and Ed Vasilevskis, MD, MPH, will present, “Increasing the Rigor of Pragmatic Clinical Trials to Advance Implementation of Evidence-Based Practice.” Dr. Ryan Baumann is Assistant Professor in the UW-Madison Department of Population Health Sciences, and Dr. Vasilevskis is Professor (CHS) in the UW-Madison Department of Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine.

In this presentation, Dr. Ryan Baumann will provide an overview of pragmatic clinical trials, and Dr. Vasilevskis will describe his trial of the ABCDEF bundle embedded in a national collaboratory designed to integrate high-quality pragmatic clinical trials into routine patient care.

The Implementation Science Seminar Series is an interactive seminar to learn about the four pillars of the Dissemination and Implementation field: implementation theory, methods, strategies, and laboratories. It occurs every second Friday of the academic year at noon and is open to all. Auto generated captions in English are available.
