About
Join the D&I Launchpad for the next Implementation Science Seminar of the 2026-27 academic year. Nicole Werner, PhD, associate professor, Anesthesiology and Biomedical Informatics, will present “SEIPS for Design and Implementation Across the Community and Clinic.”
As a key contributor to the advancement of the University of Wisconsin–developed Systems Engineering Initiative for Patient Safety (SEIPS) model, Dr. Nicole Werner will discuss the framework’s evolution since its introduction in 2006. She will examine how the model’s successive iterations inform her current research, highlighting cutting-edge applications in transitions of care, health technology integration, and research engagement designed to improve patient and clinician outcomes.
