Overview

This Collaborative Award provides support for proposals that build upon the research interests and infrastructure of both partners, and must involve Co-Principal Investigators from MCRI and UW-Madison. A particular focus is projects that address contemporary and/or emerging rural health crises, including reducing the burden of disease, promoting rural health equity, and addressing regional health disparities.

MCRI & UW-Madison Collaborative Award RFAs are generally released annually in the fall for projects that start in the spring.

Application Details

Terms:

Track 1: $50,000 direct support grant (total, between both institutions)

Track 2: $100,000 direct support grant (total, between both institutions)

Duration:

Track 1: 12 months Track 2: 18 months

Applicant Eligibility:

Early career faculty, Faculty

Special Criteria:

This is a collaborative award and therefore must include one PI from each institution. Funding for activities must come from respective institutions.
