RoWHS program supports emerging leaders in women’s health research

by ICTR Staff

ICTR is pleased to announce the recipients of the Research on Women’s Health Scholar (RoWHS) program, supported by funding from the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

This one-time program provides interdisciplinary career development opportunities for early-career faculty to foster their successful transition to independent funding in women’s health research and sex differences research. The RoWHS program also serves as a potential training onramp to future career development awards. Upon completion of the program, applicants may be eligible for additional support and consideration through the UW BIRCWH program, pending future funding.

After a competitive application cycle and rigorous review, two scholars were selected to participate in this year-long program. Scholars will receive career development through competency-based curricular activities, mentored research training, and innovative approaches to team science and career coaching. Further details about each scholar and their respective research projects can be found below.
