Overview
The Multisite Research Management Service is a fee-for-service resource available to UW clinical trial research teams, offering both à la carte options and comprehensive full-service packages. Our team is dedicated to collaborating closely with UW researchers to efficiently manage the external sites for multisite clinical trials.

Administrative Support & Project Management
- Serve as the primary contact and information resource for all external sites
- Develop a communication plan
- Respond to external site protocol inquires and questions
- Monitor study timelines to enable the project to stay on course
- Facilitate external site study team meetings
- Track study metrics and deliverables
Protocol Design Assistance
- Assess multisite trial feasibility
- Review protocol and related documents for consistency, completeness, and clarity
- Assist with the development of Manual of Procedures
Site Training & Study Start-Up
- Design, produce, and conduct site initiation meetings for external sites
- Work with external sites to ensure appropriate protocol implementation and adherence
- Coordinate ongoing training for external sites as needed
- Verify that each clinical site has the required resources
Regulatory
- Provide guidance on sIRB facilitation
- Aid in the collection of materials for IRB submission
- Collect and maintain regulatory documents of external sites
- Ensure all external site-specific staff credentials and trainings are up to date
- Prepare and submit study-wide reportable events
- Prepare and submit annual IND report to FDA
Subject Accrual
- Track and report on trial enrollment and retention
- Develop outreach interventions as needed
- Diagnose recruitment challenges and barriers
Financial Management
- Review invoices and ensure payment of external sites and vendors
- Assist PI in communications with sponsor, department, UW RSP, etc.
- Assist in annual progress reporting with PI and study team
