Overview

TL1 predoctoral awards support UW–Madison trainees from diverse backgrounds with research interests in translational science. Find greater detail on the TL1 Training Awards program page.

Trainees earn a stipend, health insurance, tuition and fees, and a travel allowance. They participate in biennial mentor meetings attended by ICTR leadership and bi-weekly writing workshops.

This program is not currently accepting applications, but will again in March 2025.
