Christine Pfund, PhD is a distinguished senior scientist at the Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) and the Institute for Clinical and Translational Research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dr. Pfund’s work focuses on advancing the science and practice of mentorship with a particular focus on mentorship education interventions. Dr. Pfund is also director of the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experience in Research at UW–Madison (CIMER) and deputy director of WCER. She was a member of the National Academies committee that published the consensus report and online guide, The Science of Effective Mentorship in STEMM.
