About
For the March seminar of the Clinical Trials Community of Practice, Phoebe Natzke, Lex Oliver, Helena Ikenberry, and Jennie Matthews from the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine at UW-Madison will present “Emergency Medicine Research Program: Bedside to Breakthroughs.”
The presenters will discuss why research in emergency medicine (EM) is important and how or why research in EM can/should integrate with research in other clinical specialties. Then they will describe the portfolio program that they run in the clinical environments at UH and EMH, and tips/tricks they use to manage a portfolio of complex research protocols in dynamic environments where all research activities happen in the context of unscheduled clinical encounters. To receive an invitation to the online meeting, contact Theresa Lins.
