About

On Friday, March 13 at noon (CST), Jay Ford, PhD, will present, “Interactive Assistance: Distinguishing Facilitation, Coaching, Mentoring, and Champions.” Dr. Ford is Associate Professor in the School of Pharmacy at UW-Madison.

In this presentation, he will explore a frequently used group of implementation strategies – facilitation, coaching, mentoring, and champions – clarifying the activities and competencies associated with each and what distinguishes them from one another. He will also examine the theory behind how and why these strategies work and share examples of their use in national UW initiatives such as the NIATx program.

The Implementation Science Seminar Series is an interactive seminar to learn about the four pillars of the Dissemination and Implementation field: implementation theory, methods, strategies, and laboratories. It occurs every second Friday of the academic year at noon and is open to all. Auto generated captions in English are available. Participants can receive credit for attending the Implementation Science Seminar Series through Shellie Ellis. Register via Zoom to attend.
