About

On Friday, February 13 at noon (CST), Ramzi Salloum, PhD, and Andrew Quanbeck, PhD, will present, “The Economics of Adaptations in Implementation Research.” Dr. Salloum is Professor in the Department of Health Outcomes & Biomedical Informatics at the University of Florida and Dr. Quanbeck is Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health at UW-Madison.

Cost is an important determinant in implementation and recent research has focused on not just societal costs, but also the implementers’ cost. In this presentation, they will discuss approaches to costing and share the associated benefits and potential downsides of implementing the intervention.

The Implementation Science Seminar Series is an interactive seminar to learn about the four pillars of the Dissemination and Implementation field: implementation theory, methods, strategies, and laboratories. It occurs every second Friday of the academic year at noon and is open to all. Auto generated captions in English are available. Participants can receive credit for attending the Implementation Science Seminar Series through Shellie Ellis. Register via Zoom to attend.
