Advance your career with ICTR’s Pathway Programs: Apply by June 30

ICTR is excited to announce that recruitment for the Pathway Programs is open.  The deadline to apply is June 30, 2025. ICTR’s Pathway Programs include AHEAD, ADEPT, STRIDE, and LEADS. These programs support individuals at different career stages who are conducting clinical and translational research that contributes to improving health and well-being. Learn more about each program below.

The ADEPT program is a mentored professional development program that supports part-time PhD students enrolled in a graduate program that supports clinical and translational research. ADEPT provides a supportive environment for career advancement and opportunities to connect with other scholars and leaders in research.

The AHEAD program provides postdoctoral scholars with a cohort experience that includes supplemental mentoring. Participants can be from any department or unit across the UW campus, especially postdoctoral scholars whose research focuses on advancing health and well-being for all.

STRIDE is a professional development program for early-career and junior faculty in the clinical and translational research workforce. STRIDE provides a supportive environment and training in mentorship, scientific writing, grantsmanship, and time management.

LEADS (Leadership Enhancement to Advance Diverse Scholars), the newest Pathway Program, is a professional development program for faculty recently promoted to associate professor (tenure or CHS) to support their well-being, enhance their leadership skills, and improve retention of these valued scholars.
