Amarette (Amy) Filut is the program manager for the Pathway Program. She oversees three mentorship and professional development programs that are under the Pathway Program umbrella: ADEPT, AHEAD, and STRIDE, which support part-time PhD students, postdoctoral scholars, and new and early-career faculty, respectively.
Her current role brings together her background in research on the experiences of professionals in academic science and medicine with her passion for mentorship and supporting the professional development of individuals across the academic pathway. She received her PhD in Clinical Investigation from UW-Madison.
