Scientific Editing Services

ICTR’s Protocol Development Program is excited to announce the addition of a scientific editing service. We have a dedicated editor that will help strengthen and clarify your scientific documents (manuscripts, grants, protocols, and other materials) by providing customized developmental and structural edits to meet the specific needs of your documents.

The scientific editor can help:

  • correct grammatical and typographical errors
  • improve sentence structure, paragraph organization, and flow
  • strengthen the scientific significance and impact
  • refine the language
  • identify inconsistencies
  • improve formatting and headings
  • reduce word count

Editing improves grant applications / manuscripts, but does not guarantee funding / publication.

Eligible Investigators
Priority for editorial assistance will be given to the following individuals:

  • Junior Faculty across ICTR partner schools and colleges (Tenure and CHS track)
  • ICTR KL2 Scholars, TL1 trainees, and students in the ICTR Clinical Investigation degree program.

Editorial assistance will also be provided on a time available basis to:

  • Established investigators with existing publications and/or grants
  • Post-doctoral fellows and other advanced trainees working with a mentor
